Prices depend on many things about a camera: Condition inside and outside; how clean it is; Workings of the lens, shutter, film advance, and so on, and how well they operate; does it come with any other items that can increase its value, for instance, flashgun, instruction booklet, filters, case, original box, and so forth. Most camera price guides list values based upon the camera being in good condition (G), or better (see descriptions below). Cameras considered to be Excellent (EX), or Mint (M) condition will be priced accordingly and reflect that fine quality.
(M)=Mint Condition. no signs of wear or use, virtually like brand new.
(EX)=Excellent Condition. Very low signs of wear or use, looks great, works great.
(VG)=Very Good Condition. Everything complete, shows minimal signs of wear and tear.
(G)=Good Condition. Product showing signs of normal use wear and tear.
(F)=Fair Condition. Parts may be missing, dirty, broken, torn, rusted, corroded, or just not up to snuff.
(P)=Parts only camera/equipment, no collector value.
Plus (+) and Minus (-) will be used to define and fine-tune the condition of a particular piece of equipment within a given rating category.
