Polaroid Swinger
Model 20
Camera

(1965-70)

The Polaroid Swinger Camera was probably the most commonly sold camera ever made. Polaroid made millions of them and because of this the camera is virtually worthless in today's camera market. The camera was introduced and advertised in 1965 as a very inexpensive instant camera which then allowed many people, who could not afford the more expensive models, to use instant photography.

The camera came with a cheap single-element plastic lens and a single-speed rotary shutter set to 1/200 second. It was fixed focus and had a assisted exposure setting by way of a built-in photometer. The camera body was a rigid white plastic type. Collector's value: $1-$5.
