Polaroid Big Shot Portrait Camera (1971-73)  Image courtesy of Martin (Marty) Kuhn, The Land List This Polariod was used for portrait photography and was designed to be used at a distance of one meter from subject. The rangefinder's only job was to set the proper distance between subject and photographer. Used #108 pack film and flash cubes. X-cubes sit in socket behind large diffuser which is just above the lens. Fixed focus lens and single speed shutter with choice of f/stops for exposure control. The design of this camera is very unique. Collector's value: $10-$30. This one's too unusual not to own! |
